About this procedure
Interventional injections are a cornerstone of modern pain management. Rather than relying solely on oral medications that affect the entire body, these targeted procedures deliver medication — most commonly corticosteroids or local anesthetics — directly to the structures causing pain. This precision approach can provide significant relief with fewer systemic side effects. Our board-certified pain physician performs all procedures using established techniques and appropriate monitoring to ensure your safety and comfort.

What to expect
Most injection procedures are performed in our office. You will be positioned comfortably and the target area will be cleaned and numbed. The injection is administered with precision guidance as appropriate for the procedure. You may feel pressure or a brief sting. Afterward, you will rest briefly before being discharged. Most patients can return to light activities the same day.
